Billy Goat Landscaping wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with disabilities.
What we have done
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Text and interface colors checked for sufficient contrast
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators and a "skip to main content" link
- Labeled form fields and status messages announced to screen readers
- Page structure with a single main heading, landmarks, and consistent navigation
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and zoomed text, and respect reduced-motion settings
Ongoing work
We test the site with automated accessibility tools when it changes and fix issues we find. Some content, such as older photos or third-party tools, may not yet fully meet every guideline.
